The Ancient Americas exhibit is an exploration from the theories of how humans arrived on the North and South American continents through the creation and demise of the Inca and Aztec empires.
Visitors enter the experience as the last ice age is receding. A series of exhibits and 2,300 artifacts allow the visitor to explore the enormous changes in cultural complexity that took place over the next 13,000 years as humans moved from the life of hunter-gatherers to empire build
