No Prior Art was developed with the staff from Los Angeles Public Library. Part of PST ART: Art & Science Collide, the exhibit features artwork and inventions that highlight the imaginative spirit of creators throughout American history.

An ambitious exhibition and program series inspired by and drawing from the LAPL’s patent and intellectual property resources, No Prior Art features the work of more than a dozen artists and inventors, many with ties to Los Angeles and delves into their unexpected stories and diverse perspectives.

The exhibit features an eclectic range of work that explores the nature of human creativity and encourages visitors to consider the nature of creativity and invention.

Red Cape Studio was hired to design the physical layout, structures and interactive elements for the exhibition.
