Interpretive Hallway

The mission of the Interpretive Hallway is to educate and inform visitors about water quality and OCWD’s global leadership, so they can leave with understanding and confidence in the purity of the water that OCWD provides.

The hallway experience is an introduction for the facility tour and gives visitors an understanding of the critical work that OCWD performs. A series of interactive experiences provide historical context and present the technology that makes the Groundwater Replenishment System (GWRS) the world’s largest wastewater purification system for indirect potable reuse.

Developed with Cinnabar. Red Cape Studio was hired to design the physical layout, structures and interactive elements for the exhibition.
